Remember Abraham was thrown in the fire.
Zakariya had his skin peeled with a metal comb
Ayuub (job) faced years and years of illness
Yaqub (jacob) was separated from his most loved son.
Yousuf was separated from his father, thrown in to a well, imprisoned
Moses was persecuted by the Phaoroh
Jesus was persecuted
Peace be Upon them All
Our Beloved Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi wasalam was forced from His beloved Mekkah, children died in infancy, His beloved Uncle Hamza Radhiallahu Anho was martyred, his friends and companions were martyred, His daughters were divorced..
Aasiya Alahis salam was tortured by Phaoroh,
Sumiyyah Radhiallahu Anha was martyred with a spear, she was of old age,
Hajira was left abandoned in the barren land.
So you see we are not alone in facing hardship. Its the practice of Allah that the more beloved you are the more severe the trial. These trials are to elevate us in rank in the eyes of Allah and so we can attain more pease and Allah’s pleasue in the Akhirah.
So never lose heart, keep hope in the mercy of Allah. Allah (God) loves you!
Verily Allah is with the Sabireen.
Be God Like – Be Kind.
This world could do with many God like people.
A person can realise when his soul is being over powered by God and Love of God, when the God like qualities start to over power his soul. forgiveness, gentleness, kindness, compassion become as second nature to him as taking the name of God.
There was a verse that was revealed to Our beloved Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasalam. it was when he was migrating to Medinah from Mekkahwith Sayyidina AbU Bakr Radhiallahu anho. They were hiding in the cave and the mushrikeen of mekkah were coming, Sayidina Abu Bakr RA was worried and an Aya was revealed of which the first words were “La Tahzan Innallaha Ma ana” Do Not Grieve (Worry) Allah is With you”. Thereafter e know the story the spider came made the web, the pigeons came and laid some eggs, the non muslims saw the foot steps leading to the cave but looked at the web and pigeons and basically thought if someone was in there the web and pigeons would be broken and thus turned away.
Thus lessen the pain knowing Allah is near And seek His help with sabr and salat.
Anywyas I read a nice sisters blog and in response i wrote this a few advices I had read with regards to distress and worry, thought I would share it:
And Remember always whatever situation or circumstance we find ourselves in, we have to remind ourself that this is what Allah Has willed and this is what i best for me. For muslims every pain causes forgiveness of sins and its better to pay in this world than the hereafter especially if the trouble has been caused by our mistakes. And Allah knows our world and circumstances better than what we do. People only do what Allah makes them do.
Another advice from a pious sheikh I read is that we have to prepare ourselves mentally for the anxiety to continue, we have to remember the rewards caused by grief and distress and at the same time pray to Allah to remove them but not hoping for a quick answer to our dua.
Also making lots of taubah and Astaghfar (seeking forgiveness) brings the mercy of Allah and this is indeed promised in the Quran in the form that it brings rain and prosperity.
And I guess there is more, Alhumdulillah you are feeling much better but inshallah you can remind others from the few suggestions that I left.
Hold on to patience always in grief as “Verily Allah is with those who make sabr” and the Best will Thank Allah even in times of grief and distress. Even the Prophet salallahu alaihi wasalam at one point felt suicidal from distress which was caused when the revelation had paused and the non muslims were taunting him. He was climbing the mountain to jump off it when the Angel Gabriel came and gave him a message that Allah has much work to take from you yet.
We are Never Alone.
Its all about Love.
This is because He loves Allah and thus He Loves what Allah loves. And Allahs most Beloved is the Prophet Sallallahu alaihi wasalam and Allah made Him as he tells us in the “Quran” the ’Usawatun Hasanah@: The Beautiful Example.
And we read the Kalimah of which the Second part is “Muhammad Ar Rasoolallah” thus we profess and take Muhammad as our Prophet and Example and that we would follow his way and teachings.
Everything about the Prophet PBUHis Blessed, He is so blessed that Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet PBUH 24 hours a day continuously. Thus as Allah loves His Prophet and His ways anyone adopting the Sunnah receives continuous blessings too.
Thus May Allah help us make our 24 hour live according to the Sunnah: Our waking, eating, walking, sleeping, talking, playing, working, friendship, greeting, loving, praying, clothing, etc.
Assalamu alaikum wr wb.
To smile at someone is charity.
To lend a helping hand : “A Muslim is a brother of (another) Muslim, he neither wrongs him nor does hand him over to one who does him wrong. If anyone fulfils his brother’s needs, Allah will fulfil his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection…” [Bukhari and Muslim].
May Allah help us love all muslims and all HIs creation.
Think about it if someone does something nice for our child we will beso happy and grateful to them. it might be as simple as us giving someones child a piece of candy. Now if a parents are this pleased just imagine ho much God would be pleased with us for helping his creation?
May Allah fill us with kindness and love inspired by Him.
There is no heart in this world sweeter than the one Inspired and Filled with His love,
Those tongues that take Gods name fill the mouth with sweetness.
Now Imagine the state of that Heart that has No Love Except His love.
One gaze from Gods Lovers can help raise you to Heavens above.
Iamgine if you were a True Lover of God?
I keep saying this but the reason why you are beautiful is because God made you. Your natural flaws are not really flaws but in fact part of your beauty and personality. If it wasn’t for those paticular charcteristics you would be someone else.
God made you mot perfectly, he breathed your soul in to you and molded your body in the mothers womb. He then nourished both your body and your soul and then set you free to live your life in this world.
Now, riches and wealth status won’t make you a nice person, good actions make people a nice person. With great effort on our souls we can reach the heavens, the Knower of the Hidden secrets, and we can earn a life of bliss on earth and bliss in the hereafter.
We humans made effort on the things of this world, so much so that metal is now flying in the air; If only we had made the same kind of effort on our souls, Just as Muhammad and Esa and Abraham taught (peace be upon them) then we too would have been flying in heaven.
No one truly dies in this world, we just pass away from here, My God help us pass away to some thing much better. (ameen).
If y just read this blog, remember God Love you and wants you to succeed.
In one of the travels of the prophet (peace and blessings upon him), one of his companions removed baby pigeons from a nest, the mother hovered over his head, seeing this he inquired from his companions if they knew who had taken her chicks, he (peace and blessings upon him) then returned the chicks to their nest in kindness and mercy to the pigeon.
God Loves us more than a mother loves her child.
Two lovers lie in one tomb
United forever in deaths dark womb.
Faithful in separation, true in love:
May one tent house them in heaven above.
Just read this in a book by Reza Aslan, “No God but God”, in a chapter on sufism. The words were inscribed on Layla’s headstone after their deaths. (layla and Majnun).
