Masha’allah, a great article. The thing I learnt yesterday was that i co-operated and asked for help in my lessons via school. Jazakallahu Khairan for sharing this

Salaam all..I definitely learn new things almost everyday. Most recent is to realise that ‘damages’ or ‘accidents’ can happen in a split second and without you anticipating it to happen. One simple example, you can appreciate and love a favourite mug and use it every morning for breakfast and take it for granted and suddenly 1 morning it just slipped from your fingers and shattered into tiny pieces. I personally think we can apply this to a bigger scale where the almighty can just destroy anything in this world as commanded, in a split second. We are nothing but powerless weaklings and should always appreciate and be thankful for all the good things in life, before they are taken away from us, including our ‘temporary’ life in this world 😉

    Asalaam Maj,

Long time no see, Insha’Allah you and family are well. I’m happy to see you are still spreading good among all and making people question the importance of things in life and how it applies.

I thought this was really a good post because we should be learning something new each day otherwise we are just vegetating as life passes by.

I just wanted to say that I learned the importance of forgiving and the power it has on every situation that surrounds our daily lives. We should always step out of our shoes and step into the shoes of the one who is in need of being forgiven or hope that others will forgive us for any wrong doing we may have inflicted. There is a reason for everything in life and we just have to be patient and understanding. Eventually all will be revealed.

Thanks Maj, I actually just accept things as they come, no need for istikarah when you know its a gift from Allah. My husband never applied for the job it pretty much fell in his lap, they asked him to apply based on someones recommendation he met at a conference. Alhamdullilah, its meant to be. Yes, you can say Abu Dhabi is similar to Vegas in the sense that its all desert and diverse, but I hope there aren’t any casinos and weird tourists:)…
