Sweetness in Pain

I wrote something to my dear sis earlier which got me thinking, not thinking but on a thought about sweetness being in pain. And its true really. Life is a struggle and the greater the struggle the more we will enjoy the sweetness that comes aferwards. Sometimes in order to appreciate the gifts from Allah and to appreciate the value of the commands of Allah we have to struggle to fulfil them but once we do Alhumdulillah we shall see the help of Allah and by constantly adhering to the commands of Allah we are then blessed with peace tranquility happiness and joy in both lives. These emotions are gifts from Allah.. Allah is the one who turns pain to joy, sadness to happiness, cures ill etc. Allah is the one who will decide hell or heaven. Allah brings everything to us and ALlah is the one who takes everything away from us.

(kind of got interupted by a phone call so I lost my way but)

but..its like to taste the sweetness of faith which is the true sweetness..termed as “halawatul iman”..we have to struggle against the nafs.. making sabr refraining it fom sins and pushing it to virtue.

Life long struggle but the end result is really sweet.

had to cut it short to many interuptions at work

  4. The problem I have and I think many others would agree with me… is that our iman is not strong enough. One needs to completely rely on Allah for everything and accept whatever He sends our way, but when your iman is not strong this becomes so difficult. And yet the solution is obvious – turn to Allah.
